The town of Pantego, a part of the city of Arlington, is located in the southwestern quadrant of the city, with Arlington to the north, west, and east and Dalworthington Gardens to the south. South Bowen Road forms its eastern boundary, and Country Club Road almost touches its western boundary. State Highway 303 and West Arkansas Lane form the southeastern border of town. Part of Pantego can be found along West Park Row Drive in the northeastern part of the city.
Although compact, this bustling community offers all the same conveniences as any other Arlington neighborhood. A variety of eateries and shops make life easier for residents of this area. This area offers a wider variety of living arrangements than most due to the prevalence of multi-story condo complexes and townhouses. Because of the low prices, this area is ideal for first-time buyers just starting out.
The convenience of living in this younger community is greatly enhanced by the abundance of parks, eateries, and stores within walking distance. Pantego is located close to a number of interesting places, including Timeless Treasures Vintage & More, Anything Goes, Storm Farms, Beaumont Ranch, Glass Aquatics, and Trinity River Kayak Company. Pantego Cafe, Sasa’s Place Cafe and Salon, El Sitio Cocina de Amor, Fattoush Restaurant, Juniors Grill, and more are just a few of the excellent restaurants in the neighborhood.
Although Pantego is a small town, it offers quite a few attractions for its size. Median household income is $66,255 while the median value of a home is $251,050. The community ranks as Niche’s 37th-best retirement spot in the Lone Star State. Numerous golf courses, such as the Texas Rangers Golf Club and Lake Arlington, are within a few miles of town, making it an attractive choice for retirees. The same holds true for tennis courts and swimming pools, such as the one at the East Library and Recreation Center in Arlington, TX.
Tennis courts and swimming pools, like the one at Arlington’s East Library and Recreation Center, are also available. Bicentennial Park is a popular local attraction because of its many amenities (including walking pathways, monuments, a seasonal splash pad, a stretching zone, and more). The use of two pavilions and a gazebo are available for booking. Trinity River Kayak Company, Storm Farms (where you can pick your own strawberries), and the eccentric gift boutique Anything Goes are just a few of the places you may browse in the area.
